Awesome little dive spot for breakfast! Great service, food and prices. My new regular!

Food is good. A couple of the waitresses are not friendly. Don't smile, no refills on coffee unless you ask then they just turn around and go get it. You don't know if that's what they are doing. If you ask for a straw they do the dasa thing and only bring one even if you are with someone.

Food was good, average diner food. Very slow kitchen. We waited a good 40 min for our food. They kept my coffee full with a smile. I would return, maybe their sandwiches are better

I have loved the toast since i was a little girl. The staff is awesome and you have to try the Reuben omelette💙💙

This was the first time I had been to The Toast in over 20 years. I brought my wife since she's always wanted to try it. I got the biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. My wife got the Denver omelet with hash browns. It might have been the best diner breakfast either of us have had. It was so good! We will definitely be back.

The B's&G's were good, the waffles weren't the best, wouldn't recommend them. But the restaurant is super cute and the other food we had was delicious!

The place was packed this morning, but the staff were very friendly and efficient. Good food and a positive atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a local diner, or just trying to avoid a chain restaurant

Reasonable prices. But the biscuits tasted stale and cold. Like semi thawed frozen biscuits. I've liked most things there but those biscuits just ruined my meal.

Service was great! We ordered the tenderloin & fries and the deluxe ham & cheese & fries. Both sandwiches were delicious! The portions were so big that we couldn't eat it all.

The Toast Cafe is a small cafe in Downtown Anderson. It is the best breakfast spot in Anderson. I've tried Ihop, Waffle House, Nicks etc. You name it. Nothing compares to the Toast. Home cooked meals and service with a smile keeps me coming back. Love their coffee. They grind the coffee beans so you know the coffee fresh. Service is pretty good but can be slow during busier times which is expected. The food makes up for it. It's a great place to just chill out and relax knowing you are going to get a delicious hearty meal.

Nice place, great food, wonderful staff, and great prices. Only complaint I have is that they are regularly closed when I get the chance to go. If they where open later, they would be worth a 6th star!

I was traveling through town today and stopped at The Toast Cafe. It was everything I expected. My chicken Charlie sandwich was fantastic and the onion rings were out of this world! I love to eat where the locals eat and this place did not disappoint!

Genuine homemade breakfast food made every day. It's always packed, but it's worth the wait and the service is excellent! It has become my new favorite place to eat!

Very clean, well managed restaurant. Large menu, quick service and true hometown atmosphere. Food is good and plentiful. Would be a fun destination for a road trip.

Want to give it 5 stars because it is a locally owned restaurant. They have been here forever and are very consistent. The food is just good though. Nothing else is outstanding. Great place to go for breakfast.

This a must go to restaurant in Anderson,In. Good harder food at a great price. The waitress was so nice and attentive even with the place full. This is not farm to table but old time good American food. Come on you have to try it just because of the name. The Toast!!

This is the best breakfast shop in Anderson! They are locally owned family joint.It is located in the heart of Downtown Anderson adjacent from the public library. There is employee parking behind the building, parking out on the street, and a rock/clay parking lot reserved for The Toast parking right across the street.The service is top notch and they never rush you no matter how busy they get. The family atmosphere and treatment from the staff are beyond comparison. Better than any chain restaurant and I've yet to find a better breakfast nook.

The Toast Cafe, in downtown Anderson, was as good as it always is. Nothing better than a hearty breakfast and good company to get your day started on the right track.

I take my mother here every Saturday and we have a great time with the ladies there must go for anyone Last Saturday I took my brother and he loved the biscuits and gravy and he always wants to go now
